DYNO Results - CLK320 Hi Flow Exhaust Manifolds / V6 Headers
Dyno was with the 20" heavy chrome so you know it will be allot more with 2 changing factors.
1. Dyno without the 20's
2. Dyno at a regular shop with regular Dyno wheel rollers.
Can't wait for PowerChip Tokyo to open in October to have my ECU tuned.
After my ECU being tuned I may consider two other options.
1. Have my heads polished and increased to 3.8liter with maybe a renntec camshaft
2. Supercharger
Dyno Explanation
File1 (Red Line) - Dyno with 20's before KMACs
File2 (Green Line) - Dyno with 20's after KMACs and Evo Pulley
File3 (Blue Line) - Dyno with 20's with new custom Headers
Sound did not change in decibels but did change in frequency dropping by about 20Hz.
Unofficially
HP increase +7
Torque increase +28 = 16% Increase
I say this is unofficial because I went to a tuning shop that has heavier Dyno rollers than normal because they said they want to test actual road resistance. With that being said here are the numbers
Before
165.11 RWHP @ 171.42 lb-ft torque
After
172.01 RWHP @ 199.63 lb-ft torque
Even before the Dyno driving home from the shop, I noticed smooth consistent acceleration. From a stand still you feel a tingle of enjoyment in the 1K rpm range and while rolling driving moderately you feel it around 2K, and a some aggression around 2.5K and increasingly becomes a monster in the 3-5K range.
---------------------------------
MB Original CLK 320 Engine Specs
Horsepower @ rpm = 215 @ 5,700
Torque (lbs-ft.) @ rpm = 229 @ 3,000-4,600
Wheel/Tires = 7.0x16-inch 205/55R16

Ghost's designs are flawless, and i really mean that i love the camber kit i just wish he would make a set for the front, because my back tires are still brand new while it's time to change the front ones already and i put all 4 at the same time when i installed the camber kit. Gohst how would i get rid of the squeek? if i wasn't changing my egine i would get the headers. by the way i gt my car back full time again so i'llbe back here more often and i have a couple of new suprises that Will has already seen one of them.

99CLK320,
I exchanged numerous emails w/Kleeman. they eliminate the O2 sensors and do a chip tune to completely eliminate the sensor readings from the mapping. I could be wrong but that is how I remember it. Kleeman's long tube headers were $1500 which included the chip tune plus $600 to install. Ghost has done a great job and kept the price down. I will get to shake his hand this weekend when I pick mine up. {;o)
