yes, I searched, and did learn to order and use the radio removal tool to remove the actual climate control unit. However, I also need to remove the console surrounding the climate control unit opening...the portion that contains all of the heated seat switches, headlight washer switches, etc. I've searched but come up empty. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. 2002 CLK55 Cab.

I took mine out a few weeks ago. You just have to give it a good pull!

Thanks. No clips to release or anything to depress before just pulling?

climate control comes out first, using the "radio removal" keys.

to remove the wood panel, pull out on the upper part to snap off, the bottom has 2 tabs (dont pull on the bottom part or you will break the tabs)
