Clk won't start just put new fuel pump and filter
Hello everyone i just registered and is wondering if anyone can help me? I've had my clk for 2 years and started having issues with it turning off and not starting. I figured it was the fuel pump since i couldnt hear the humming from it. I just replaced it yesterday along with the filter and now it won't start. I checked and it is getting fuel off the fuel rail and it is getting spark from both sides. I'm at a loss at what to try now. I just purchased a CPS today since it seems to be a big problem with these cars. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!!!!
I would replace that CPS since it is one of the more common issues with starting, specifically after the car has been warmed up. It is very easy to change out if you read some of the HOW-TO's already posted. After you change this out...30 minutes tops, come back and let us know the results.

2000 clk 430 not starting after fuel pump and filter change.
So i changed out my fuel pump and filter after a super loud howl and it dying out on me on the way home. I did forget to disconnect the battery when doing so. Went to start it after the replacement and it bogged out. And won’t start again. I noticed the bolt in the positive terminal of the pump was a little stripped so it’s kinda loose. Maybe bad connection from that?
