2002 CLK320
New MB CLK320 owner
Hi all,
Been lurking in here for a couple of days reading and gathering info as I just bought a 2002 CLK320. I will actually get to see it in 90 days or so, lol, as I am in Iraq right now. It has 98,000 on it and after downloading the owners manual and maintenance manual I was wondering if there was anything I should be looking for and doing as the car ticks over the 100,000 mile mark? The maintenance manual wasn't a whole lot of help I'm afraid. My friend told me the car is solid with only a slight muffler rattle at idle that goes away at acceleration and highway speeds. No noticeable fluid leakage. Apparently some damage to the front (air dam/lip maybe) as I'm not sure what the lower part below the front bumper is referred to in MB lingo? Don't know if that is integral to the bumper or not.
Anyway, lots of great information in here and I look forward to learning from all the experienced folks here.
Tim
