Take a look at the recent Car & Driver article that they did on the C32K (C320) and CLK43K (CLK430)

It can be read here :

the C320 have pretty much the same engineering/engine as the CLK320?

BTW.. the C32K pumped out 320 hp! Pretty interesting... Still not an AMG though

If the Supercharged 320 has 320HP and the Supercharged 430 has 430HP, shouldn't the Supercharged 55 only have 55HP???

Interesting article... however, I'm wondering why a supercharged 430 that is running 430hp is only pulling 0-60 in 5.9 and 1/4 mile in 13.4?

I think the supercharged 430 was clocked at sub-5 sec. 0-60, actually.

I agree, I'd expect 4.5-4.6 sec 0-60. However, I would think these cars are rather difficult to launch correctly, with all the power they're putting down. The less-than-stellar numbers are probably more attributable to wheelspin than anything else.

Yeah I agree, all that power and torque just overwhelms the tires. I'm sure if they tried maybe 4-5 times the numbers would keep ketting better and better as the testers become more familiar with the car and how to lanuch it.

Do the Kleeman cars have a differential upgrade? Another factor that may account for it is at what RPMs are the HP gains most impressive. While the 0-60 time may only be down to 4.9 (which I'd settle for), the 1/4 may be a better picture of the cars accelleration.
