clk320 stuck in park no dummy lights or errors
I have a 2000 clk320. It is stuck in park. I have replaced the break pressure sensor and still no luck. There are no error messages or dummy lights. The only differences between this problem and the others with the same problem is that after the key is turned, it takes a couple of seconds before the car starts. Normally it starts right away. This happened once before and my wife played with the steering column and got it to work. That was about a year ago. It didn't work this time. Any suggestions?

Spilled any liquids
down onto the shifter?
Have you tried resetting the trans by disconnecting the battery neg post for a few minutes and rehooking it up. You will need to resync your windows etc.
Have you tried the Pen trick inserted by the shifter to get it out of park?
Procedure is in the owners manual.
A few things to try at least
