99CLK320,
Springbooster

If anybody is interested http://www.gmpperformance.com/index....tList&CID=5758 are on sale for 269.00. I got mine about a month ago for 329.00. The second one listed without the picture will fit on 98-99 clk320 or 430. I love mine. You won't regret it. I have no affiliation with gmp.

99CLK320,
you probably have the older style without the extra piece to change from normal, to sport, to full on boogey. I would see if they will replace it.

99CLK320,
I can't say the new one is better because I have no way to compare. but it is better in the sense that you have the option of the different settings. I would try to contact the manufacturer and see if there is a remanufacture or replacement program with your claim being that the product is not performing to claims made. Because you are not the original purchaser you may be SOL.

idk if sprintboosters ever stop working, but i would think buy n a newer one is better cuz u wont have to over use it.which in fact would make it last longer.so i guess mine will be go n in the classifieds soon lol.

99CLK320,
if it isn't working properly do you really think it would be appropriate to try to sell it?

I apologize cuz I thought you were saying yours wasn't working you were going to sell it. but you meant your throttle body/sensor was bad(maybe).

I don't think you can overuse a product like this. Its just a signal amplifier. Like anything else it can malfunction If you feel it isn't working correctly, contact the manufacturer and see if you can send it in for testing or repair.
