Aftermarket *Primary* Cats?

Whos done it? What i've seen its 300cell metal cats can go up front, but its looks hella tight up front.

Im looking to remove my secondary race cats (100 cell) and move them in the primary location if possible.

Why do you want to do that?

I removed my primary cats and had the rear O2 sensors extended to behind the secondary cats.

Looking for power. At the moment the price isn't right for me to get headers, So im looking to cheap it up and just have 1 set of high flow cats only upfront.
Somewhat what your running right now but mine would be in the primary location, O2 sensor staying where it is.

Is there anything gained by having the cats further down the tube?

They are there because the high flow cats won't really fit into the primary cat location on the driver's side downpipe.

You could also look at just deleting them and then getting some O2 simulators.
