sub woofer wiring

sub woofer wiring
i have a few questions about sub woofer wiring. i read you can use a hi low converter and splice it in to the rear speakers. only problem is idk if i have to splice it in with wiring from the amp or if i remove the rear deck were the down firing 6.5 x 9s are will the speaker wireing be visible there

Depending on what amp you buy, you may have high level inputs on it, if not, you'll need to buy a line level converter. You can splice into the wires leaving the amp going to the rear speakers, just make sure you tap both the left and right to get full range.

oh i see well im adding in 2 10s that i dont know much about considering that my nieghbor gave them to me for free. the amp however is a 2 chanel 600watt chaos c450.
