Battery Questions
Anyways, I have a few questions about the battery and charging system on our W208's, it's supposed to drop down to the single digits this week so I want to be prepared incase something happens, I did some searching around but I still have a few questions.
1. Does the car have just the 1 battery in the trunk?
2. If the battery dies, what all do I need to reset? Windows, sunroof, seats fore/aft, anything else?
3. Is it possible to jump start the car from another car? I have Michelin smart cables which are supposed to prevent electrical spikes.

I feel like a newbie asking all these questions but without an owner's manual yet I'm somewhat at a loss, thanks.

The Mercedes-USA site has owner manuals 'free' to download.
>1. Does the car have just the 1 battery in the trunk?
Yes
>2. If the battery dies, what all do I need to reset? Windows, sunroof, seats fore/aft, anything else?
Yes, the ABS system (by fully turning the steering wheel in each direction).
>3. Is it possible to jump start the car from another car?
Yes, via the trunk battery terminals or a terminal in the engine compartment.
Anti-tow button off = any vertical movement of the chassis will enable the alarm; alternatively, if the tow-switch is on then if the doors are locked and the car is placed on a flatbed or the tow hook on the rear or front is used the alarm will not go off. I haven't tried it, but I'm thinking the alarm will still go off if the doors are broken into/glass broken even if the tow switch is on.
