Check engine light

So my check engine light turned on today and the car shut off on my once during the day but seems to be fine now with the check engine light still on. I was looking for hand held devices online and came across this site. Has anyone used this before?

http://www.obdcom.com/

Thanks

I don't know if it works, but if it does, please let me know. It's not quite a digimoto, but it's more tha 50% less.

A buddy at work had a scanner in his trunk. Ended up being the MAF sensor. Ordered one from AutohausAZ should have it tomorrow. It seems really simple to replace.

I think Im just going to buy a hand held scanner to have with me in the car. The OBDCOM software seems pretty cool but I normally do not lug my laptop around with me so it defeats the purpose for me. Thinking of buying the Actron CP9180 or the CP9580. I found a couple of pretty cheaply priced ones online..

Thanks for the input..
Merry X-Mas!
