Thanks to Steve for a great job on my COMAND install. But does anyone here know how to turn off the lady's voice completely...gets annoying sometimes.

While she's talking, turn the volume knob all the way down. That'll quiet her down.

i think u can mute her voice in the setting , and still enjoy ur cd or radio , but I m not sure u can mute her voice completely or not .
i'd like to check the comand manual to make sure , but it is not in my hand now

no, you can't mute her voice, but you can turn it down all the way. Why woul dyou want to turn it off anyways? It givse you the directions so you don't have to read the command screen or the dashboard.

because she is annoying...last week I drove a part of the Bay area - San Diego trip in a comand (euro comand offcourse ) equipped CLK55 and changed the voice settings as well because IMHO she talked way too much and interupted the enjoyable music way too often .

Go to Navigation...bottomline: Settings...bottomline: sound and change settimgs for the longrun or just turning down her volume while she is speaking for the shortterm.

I read the manual and there is no way to mute her completely. But yeah she does talk way too much and it interupts the music quite a bit. Guess I'll just have to turn her volume all the way down and BLAST my tunes! Overall I still LOVE the damn COMAND! Thanks to Steve and his buddies!! Steve just finished installing the Euro COMAND about a week ago. Very nice guy, superb skills, and very professional. :-)
