H&R AND BILSTEIN
got my H&R lowering spring and Bilstein Sport Shock on my 01 clk430 and the ride is pretty rough and bouncy, is that normal for bilstein shock? the spring are brand new but i bought the bilstein shock used from a local craigslist, can they be bust? or not good? is that why is causing the ride to be so rough and bouncy? before when i had my h&r and stock shock on it was a kinda bouncy but not as rough as when i put on the used bilstein. i can feel every little bump and everytime i hit a harder bump on the road the rear would bounce pretty hard. any suggestion?

It shouldn't be bouncy at all just complient. Overall should feel tighter comes back to center position quicker, if your getting a bounce back after quickly returning to ride position those shocks are no good!
Bilstein sports i've found to be a little harsh upfront compared to Koni's.
