Chrome Side Mirror Frames
Somewhere on this forum we were discussing chromed mirror frames a few weeks ago.
Well, I got them installed....
hmmm... not sure though, what do you guys think? Be honest!

i wouldnt say easy, cause the whole mounting has to be diassembled. the mirror has to come off so that you can remove the stock one and clip this one in from the inside.
Sort of like the center wheel caps. They look simple, but you need to remove the wheels to get them off. U know what i mean?

Hmmm..I'm not a fan of chrome. In fact I really like that the only chrome on my CLK is the grill.
One of the reasons I personally don't like the w209 is the chrome trim around the car.
Oh well it looks like I'm the minority here anyways.

Those mirror frames look great. I was wondering if you could post a picture from the front of your car or kinda looking down from the front so I can see how they look with the reflectors.
Also, I did what they said turning the mirror in and down but I can't figure out which wires to undo without the threat of destroying my mirrors.
Any suggestions.

you wont a get a clear view of the chrome front the front. Let me see if this pic justifies what i mean.
The chrome can be noticed from behind, where the car behind you can see it and its own reflection of its lights in it!
