Euro Spec Car owners?
Just for fun can you post some pictures of your car?
So that some of us in the US can compare the differences?
I’ll post the same pics so we can compare?
Are there special requirements for cars in your country?
Is your car a Euro Spec car?
I noticed your indicator stock on the left has a little light on it. What is it?
I noticed the Turn indicators on the dash (At least I think that’s what there are)?
Isn’t Euro radio stations even numbers (100.2 FM) Here in the US they end in odd numbers (101.1 FM)
Maybe you have a few more exterior lights?
Maybe more less smog requirements?
Maybe your bumpers are different?
Just wonder what the differences are?
Thanks,
Tim

Italian specs (same as continental Europe's)
Hi, these are some pics scanned from a MB brochure (Italian market). Later I'll post some photos of my 98 CLK 200K. HTH,
Mauro
P.S. On the dash you can see the "Parktronic" display (front and rear)

No, in Europe they are not required. I think there are differences also in the fog lights and in the lower part of the front bumper. The interior seems the same, left aside the speedometer with indications in km. Do you notice other differences?

Obviously this is only a mean pictured car: in Italy, automatic A/C is an optional, such as Parktronic, leather interior, automatic transmission, sunroof, and a very long list of stuff. (Anyway, you get the steering wheel out of the box ;-)

The AC / Heat is manual...Our's is electronic.
The rims/bumpers/side skirts on that blue 430 convertible are different from the stock 430 rims here. The Euro version doesn't look like a AMG body kit just a regular 320 kit. But I think you guys have different packages avaliable.

R129 SL55 AMG & W208 CLK55 AMG
Timster..
I'm very surprised!
You have a CLK55 AMG and you have never seen the parktronic indicators on the dashboard? I thought all CLK55's pretty much came fully loaded, including the designo leather 2 tone interior?
I would also like to shed some light on what i believe is the case for the US market. I think MB sold CLK430's and CLK55's to the US market only in AVANTGARDE without badging it AVANTGARDE. What they also did is sell the CLK430's with standard AMG Optical packages and wheels, hence the sporty look and the window trims in black.
All CLK55 AMG around the world come ONLY in AVANTGARDE!
The interior options may be different, but I know for a fact that in europe and middle east ( dont know much about asia and far east), we could order CLK430's in ELEGANCE and without AMG styling.
Can you imagine? A CLK430 with 16 inch wheels and bur walnut interior!

All that power and no way to get it to the ground?
As for the Parktronic system, I have never see the pods on the dash board only the sensors on the rear bumper. That doesn't mean they don't exsist. I just have seen it.
I was hoping to see a Command system with the TV button from the factory.
Thanks for posting.
