steering wheel vibration at 40mph

I've done the tie rod assembly, steering damper, idler arm repair kit, new front bearings and new tires to boot. The steering is much better but I have a slight vibration through the steering wheel at 40mph. It used to vibrate worse but now only at 38-42mph and it is slight. Any idea on what this could be? I don't believe the races were replaced when the bearings were done, that's about all I got. Any help is appreciated. It's a 2002 430CLK at 77k miles

I replaced my bearings without doing the races and I still had a vibration so I had a shop push out the races and replace them for me. After replacement my slight vibration went away. My races could have been worse than yours is but I was told to always replace them when doing the bearings.

Ohhh you said new tires so I am sure you had a good balance but had to ask anway.. Did you balance all 4 rims?

You may want to look into the lower control arm bushings.

Thanks for the info, I'll look into the races. Tires are a long story, but I have new ones on the front (Hankook Ventus Evos) balanced and the rear ones get mounted Wednesday.

I've done the bushings about 10K ago so I'm assuming that's not the issue, or at least I hope so.
Thanks
