Brake Caliper Stuck
Hello all...
Tried to replace the brake pads and rotors today but ran across a problem..
Front passenger corner, after removing the pin covers(2) , pins(2) and the sensor, the caliper wouldn't lift from the original position.
It was loose enough to wiggle around, but even after a rubber mallet and a bit of leveraging, it still wouldn't detach..
Any suggestions on disassembly?
Thank you in advance.

Silly question during a break in the all-star game, you did remove the spring from the front, right? If the spring is in place, the caliper isn't going anywhere.
How about Kobe's dunk! And Duncan's block on BronBron.

Yes, I think its the anti-rattle spring that wasn't removed.
Can you guys point it out for me in these tutorial pics?

I want to be sure I can locate it before I take the wheel off again.
Cheers

In the attached photo, the red arrow is pointing to a bent wire. That's the spring. Be careful when you pull it out of either hole. Being a spring, it's under pressure.

Thanks guys, Springs it was!
To note.. Tirerack is clearing out some of their brake pads. Seems to be some good deals.
I used:
Brembo rotors
Akebono front pads
Satisfied Pro rear pads
and not a squeak so far
