99CLK320,
Wheel question
Is anybody out there running a 9" wide rim with a 30 mm offset on the front of their clk? I'm lowering the car on Vogtlands and I'm thinking these are too wide without rolling the fenders. I think they will fit in the back but don't think they will make it on the front. I tried an offset calculator comparing oem to the new rim and it tells me I have 20mm less clearance on the inside and the outside would EXTEND an extra 30mm. Whoa! Anybody?

Doubt you'll put a 9" wide wheel on the front with a 30mm offset without having to make fender modifications.
8.5" front, 9.5" rear is the standard for having the most safe specs without rolling fenders (not saying if you go with these widths you definitely won't need to roll, but usually people that go with these are pretty safe). Offset plays a big part in wheel fitment as well, so even if the wheel is 8.5" front with a lower offset, then you'll possibly need to roll at that point.

dlbehrns...
did these rims work out for you?
Using the calculator, it tells me that you would have 20mm less on the inside and 26mm more on the outside...
Chappy's setup should result in 1mm less on the inside and 25mm more on the outside....
So you were only 1mm further out on the outside.

99CLK320,
I bought a set of 17" X 8" Mandrus Millineums with a 32 offset all around and the fronts are flush with the wheel well and no fender roll. I don't think they will work without rolling the fender.
