Tires rubbing on inner fender plastic
I have a rubbing issue on my passenger rear tire. Wheels are Mandruss Manheim 18 X 9.5 ET 35 should fit, right? I just had MB look at the alignment and they said it was in spec.
Mandruss rep told me he had a customer with a CLK55 with the same problem told me to use a heat gun and push back the fender plastic for more clearence.
What do you think?
Thanks in advance for your help.
What kind of camber are you running on the rears? I'm at -1.8 or something which I think is just barely in spec.
When I asked they said it was out in the front and they adjusted it and the drivers side rear was also adjusted but not the side that was rubbing.
After looking at the reciept today I noticed there wasn't any charge for new bolts, I thought there would have been if they really did an alignment.
I explained to them I new the camber was off in the rear on both sides I could see it on the inside of the tires, wearing.
