I have a similar problem on one of my side mirroes as well. It seems to be part filled with tinted fluid.
Other side won't adjust from the control.
Anyone know how to fix these problems.
Can you buy just new glass or does whole mirror need to be replaced?

You can buy just the glass, but its like $450 ish.....

Alternatively, you can just buy a regular piece of replacement glass (no tinting feature) on ebay for a lot lot less.

Wow!! That is big bucks for a mirror.
I will look at it in more detail before I decide what to do.
I need to dismantle the mirror assembly.
Can anyone point me to a "How to do it" Is there a general library within the forum that has a listing of all available diy write ups.
