My Headlight Mod
I mean, does that bulb drain lot of current away from other electrical part in the car.??
all my lights are stock right now.....my main lights are Xenon but the fog lights and middle city lights are regular stock bulbs. I have been searching for bulbs that will give me that nice clean blue/white look to match my xenons but I am having a hard time...
help..~!
I have 2000 CLK320

Thanks for the info. Do you know if your bulb is the 6V or 12V bulb? Blue or White? Thanks!
I took the liberty of calling them to inquire, so I thought I'd share the info I got.
If you order direct from the manufacturer, min order is $250, and delivery takes about 7-8 weeks as they need to manufacturer the bulbs upon ordering.
Their closest CA distributor has a $20 min order, and it also takes about 7-8 weeks.
The basic 6V bulb will run you $8.89 each from both places. You can get it in a variety of colors from Red/Orange/Amber/Yellow/Green/Blue/White
There are quantity discounts (100+) from the mfr. Anyone here wanna do a group buy?

Ok, I finally found the site info for where I got the LED bulbs. Go to DDP-LED's You're looking for a bayont connector white LED bulb to replace an 1891 bulb. Tokomo, to answer your question, the LED bulbs actually draw less power than a stock bulb, so you will get a bulb out warning unless you do one of the following: wire in another pair of normal city lights and hide them in the engine bay; or wire in the appropriate resistor (I'm not sure what that is). Both of these methods fool the bulb system into thinking that everything's normal.
What method did you use to fool the computer? or did you leave it as a warning on your computer?
Thanks,
Rob

Otherwise, it would serve no purpose... If there is enough interest, i'll make a post in the different forums to work out a group buy discount
can we custom design the LED light bulb to the H6W type and 12v 6w ??
so we don't need to cut the leg of the bulb to fit in the slot
This is what they said:
If the customization of the bulbs simply means taking an 'in stock' base and applying different types/quantities, etc.. then it wouldn't be very expensive.
However, if you require a 'special' base, which I think our lights are(due to the prong orientation), then there will be an added surcharge as they need to special order the bases, and will most likely end up costing more too.

Hope this help so if someone wants to buy it they got a shopping cart system going but its abit high for shipping.

I've always hated the POLARG city lights. I thought they were worse then the stock yellow ones.
Here is a link to a resistor.....

Overseas (including Canada and Mexico) orders: Please select the $25 shipping charge for faster delivery and tracking, additional charges may apply depending on package size. Select the $5 charge for Letter Post shipping, this will take longer, cannot be tracked, and we are not responsible for the order after it ships.
since the $5 charge of shipping is not including the tracking no. ....
so i m thinking to pay either $5 or $25 .... but $25 is quite a lot indeed ...
thx in advice
