AMG Wheels

Hey All,
Still trying to locate some original star five spoke AMG's. Is it true that the offset that came on the w208 430 was:

33mm front
37mm rear?

I know the 33mm is right just wondering if the 37mm was correct for the 17x8.5 rear wheels. Found some in Florida.

thanks!

On my 17" monoblocks, the rears are ET30 and the fronts are ET37.

Does anybody happen to have a part number for the rear wheels? I'm specifically referring to the rear OEM 5 spoke AMG wheel (17" x 8.5"). An old racing buddy of mine has a shop assistant who might have the exact replacement wheel for me but since they're an hour away, I want to make sure before I make the trek. Didn't have time to jack up the car and climb underneath this morning... instead I arrived to work with grass in my hair and a dirty shirt with no part number!

To the OP:

It may depend on whether you mean the early or the late versions. They both have five spokes, but begining in 2001, the AMG wheels had thinner spokes (lets all agree not to have the early/late weight argument in this thread, shall we guys?). I may be wrong, but I thought my OEM 2002 AMG thin-spokes were 17x7.5 with a +37mm offset up front, and 17x8.5 with a +30mm offset out back. The earlier ones may have had a different offset

Honestly, there are a few wheels that fit the "5 spoke" criteria. Look on this page: http://www.alloywheelsdirect.net/mer...ass_208_alloys

Pick the one that matches (there were TWO different 5-spoke AMG wheels on the CLK430). Click on the picture and the wheels specs and part numbers will come up.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the link Chappy. I didn't see your post until now. Just bought a replacement wheel off EBay.
