Trunk won't open...HELP!!!!
I've tried to open my trunk using the remote on the key, as well as the switch inside the car. Not getting any response. Is there some way I could have pused the lock buttons which would have disabled being able to oppen the trunk???
Any suggestions???
Thanks

Try holding the trunk button up on the console for about 10 seconds. (Trunk should pop up) If not time to go to the dealer.
My car went thru a phase where I couldn't open the trunk, lock the car or close the sunroof with the remote. Some times it still does it but I just leave it for about 10 minutes and it works fine.

Thanks-
I forgot that there was a way of opening without the remote (or the switch). You know the good ol' fashion key!! Anyway, I opened it manually, then closed it and the remote worked fine. Another thing while on the subject, I was reading in the owners manual how to lower the windows using the remote (Continue holding down the button). I have tried this on my car many times, but isn't working. Could this be the same problem?? Could my remotes (tried both) be bad??
Thanks

were you holding the key directly at the Infra-red receiver at the door handle?
You need to hold it right in front of that receiver or else it won't work.... its a safety feature (so you don't accidently depress the keys while its in purse/pocket while walking away).

went through that with mine for awhile
try your remote close to the driver's door receiver and holding for 10 seconds or more... should kick-in at that point...
then it should respond when you aim at passenger door handle receiver...
seems to put things back in order on mine .... until the next time it acts up
