Front wheel alignment advice please?
My car is lowered on Eibachs by 30mm and has been for the last 3 years or so. I got some inner tyre wear which is probably very likely down to the cambers so I would rectified this and fitted the mercedes camber bolts.
I got the car aligned after fitting the bolts and the readings showed that my cambers were alot better then before fitting the camber bolts but still just outside the recommended max negative camber setting. However despite this I am now getting outer tyre edge wear as if the cambers are too positive despite the readings. Could this be down to too much toe-in do you think?.
Does anyone know a really good alignment place in Glasgow UK? I used Performance Tyres before at Anniesland. Thanks
PS The car drives and feels fine.

I recently had the same problem with my car that aligned to about -2* camber in the front, And was scratching my head thinking how can I have outer tire wear. I came to the conclusion that it was caused by hard turning at speeds. If you notice when you turn the wheel on our cars the outside tire edge of the tire of the direction you are turning in takes to the pavement at an aggresive angle. Thats all I can come up with because my toe was pretty much spot on at .2*

I noticed that my outer wear is not quite on the edge but just inside by an inch, I think its called 'cupping'? any thoughts.

generally speaking, cupping is bad ball joints. Feathering across the face will be toe, and inside or outside will be camber/caster issue. Of course there are always exceptions and contibuting factors. If it's TRUELY cupping then I would check the ball joints first and then go from there.
