Replacing Front Grill

I searched but couldn't find.
Does anyone have a DIY or instructions on how to replace the front grill?
Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated!

Related question to this thread...

If I change CLK 230 w208's grill to this one...

Would I need to remove this from the hood?

How about the hole on my hood? What do I plug into it? This make the install complicated right? Sorry for the many questions

99CLK320,
neither the hood emblem nor the grill are difficult. they are both very easy to remove. Like A1 said, just undo the small nuts. The emblem twists off.

Thanks for the info!
I guess I should have looked first, but much appreciated.
It was just 6- 8mm bolts and only took 5 minutes!

Taking the STAR OFF

My issue is MORE on the AMG grill/hood DESIGN (consistency) rather than accessibility for the grill installation. I was worried about the emblems being redundant and overkill because of the BIG STAR on the grill plus a SMALL STAR on the hood. I saw AMG's CLK55's and this one on google...

They seem to consider the big star to substitute the little star. Should I do this?

Just sharing the experience guys. Did a little research and saw that a whole bunch of CLK's with a big star on the grill didn't have the small star anymore on the hood. so, i took out mine as well My new grill had 2 bolts 8mm nut size at the bottom and 4 clips at the top...

Hope you this helps. Cheers!

Be sure to align the tab the pops out when you open the hood correctly. When I installed mine, I accidentally aligned it into one of the grill slats. When I closed the hood, it punched through the grill, breaking one of the slats.
