Can Window Open on Unlock?

Hello

This is my first post and I'm somewhat of a newbie to this all.

I have a question on the opening of the windows on unlock. Is it possible to program a CLK430 to open its windows just a tad bit when it is unlocked. I have a problem where when i open the door with the window up all the way, it catches on the seals up top because the motor isnt able to open the window quick enough.

In short, i want the windows to open when the unlock button is clicked on the remote to avoid any window catching on the seals up top. The only car which i know does this is the VW EOS. When you unlock, the windows open a little and when you lock the car, windows slide to close all the way.

Thanks for any comments or tips you all may have.

only suggest would be to hold down the open button to roll down windows from outside prior to stepping inside.

Since you're new to the car, I want to be real clear - it won't drop when you "unllock" the car. However, like insame1 posted the window drop is built into your car - as soon as you pull the handle to open the door (from either inside or out), if the window is completely closed, the window will drop down a little. As soon as the door is shut, it returns to the original position. That feature was added in the 2001 model year. If your car does not do this, reset the windows. To reset the windows, with the door shut, push the switch and roll the window all the way down. Now push the switch and roll it all the way up. When it reaches the top continue to hold the button for an additional two seconds. Now do the other window.

Thanks guys to all replies.

I have been using the keys to open the windows up a little before entering the car. The previous owner said that the driver side window was replaced by a mercedes dealer and thats the door I'm having problems with the most. The passenger side seems fine, the window opens a little quickly enough to not catch on the seals where as my driver side seems a bit slower. The window also squeeks when it rolls up and down all the way so could i be that i must open the whole door and lubricate the motors, seals, etc?

Thank you all for your replies and suggestions, real big help
