Think I may have bought a previously wrecked car.
I have noticed a few things are loose. And have been taken a part at least once.
The outside A pillar tabs were all broken. The A and C pillar inside covers were removed and tabs broken. The rocker panels have broken tabs and the rubber is not in the best shape. The trim on the oustside of the driver’s door is loose and, I can here the air bag wire bouncing inside the door. But the most recent thing I found is that the door strap only has one screw in it.
Is there any one here that might be able to help me out with one? The door is making some popping noises. I think it just needs the second screw.

Popping noises only but still can swing the door and have it firmly set into the 1st and 2nd checks are likely loose screws.
Popping sounds accompanied by a door that doesn't set into the stops likely means you need a new strap or risk body panel damage.

Yeah that is what i thought and as I said above there is a screw missing. Do you know where I can just get the screw. All the MB salvage yards around here a jerks.

Update: door strap has failed. now the battery is dead or i need a new brake switch. FUN
anyone have a silver strap i can get one form the dealer for $46 unpainted and I have to wait a week.
