Integrated Garage Door Opener ???
Hey guys,
Im from Australia and have a 2001 CLK430.
I currently have the standard rearview mirror installed in my car and would like to install the one with the auto dimming and garage door opener on it.
I read on the site merc upgrades but it doesnt say anything about Australia on the US and Europe.
Can i get one of the upgraded mirrors from anywhere or does it have to be somewhere outside the U.S. ??
Also i was reading about the region codes and there isnt one for Australia. What would i set it to ?

The homelink built into the mirror is basically an independent device built into the mirror. You would need to get one outside the US, as our (US) frequencies are different. Your region code would be Europe or UK - but they can be changed, per the page you referenced. Just try the default and change if necessary.
