Steering wheel controls aftermarket head unit
So I have a clarion aftermarket head unit and wanted to get my steering wheel controls back. I know that I need swi-jack and swi-can2. I was searching eBay and found a swi-jack for 10 but it's version 1.5.16. Will that be ok or does it need to be v2? Also i was looking at the oem2 but I'm not sure if I need it. Will adding it only make it sound better? And the jack and xan2 won't decrease sound quality or anything of that sort will it?

i have the adaptors on my Sony for the steering wheel and they have been excellent for the last 3 years now... Call the company they are very helpfull or a supplier to get compatibility info.

For $28, an OEM2 will make it sound much better.
I've had a Jack for a couple of years, how do you determine the version number?
The Jack and the CAN will not impact sound. They are only for steering wheel controls.

It just said the version on the ebay link I'm not sure though.
if i have a separate amp powering the speaker and a separate amp powering my sub with a aftermarket head unit would you still recommend getting the pac oem2?
