beware USPS Drivers in SoCal
*sigh* e320, may be too much $ to repair? thoughts?
this morning, just got done with a meeting in huntington... then, PARKED by a starbucks near my friend's place in westminster.
came out to find my driver taillight smashed into pieces all over the street. Then after closer inspection, bumper was torn, trunk wedged in, and top of the rear driver quarter panel perfectly dented in.
Thoughts that first ran thru my head...hit-n-run, or accident by kids nearby playing with baseball bats..
Then i look closer as to who's around me, parked behind, infront, etc...and there it was...a USPS mail delivery truck. Good thing tho, USPS driver called out his supervisors and boss to come document the incident. I will know what happens tomorrow when I speak with the USPS "accident investigator"...
Tomorrow, i'll take it to fletcher jones to get estimated for dmg. At this point may be too much to even consider fixing. Value of the care was holding steady before this as up to this point no accidents to date.
*sigh* sad day

One USPS driver hits your car and now it's beware of all of them? lol Would make more sense to say "beware of drivers in socal."
**** happens, at least it wasn't a hit 'n' run with no insurance

the driver didnt lose his job. he was sent back down for training (been in touch with the driver). Apparently they have more than a few cases/month... =\
