Question

Will the M17's look funny with regular halogen bulbs? I don't have HIDs. I don't want my city lights to look brighter or whiter than my "main" lights.

I just installed the M17 today, they look much better than the one I had before(N17). The M28 for the rear is quiet complicated to me, can anyone tell me what's the easiest/proper way to change them? Thanks in advance

here is how i did it, take out the carpet on the back of trunk by releasing the plastic screws ( about 7-8 total ), you will see the location of the back lite bulbs, remove them and put the M17's in, it may take awile, kinda of tricky to put them in right place ....

hope this helps

post some pics when you done

:p

Cool yup I saw your plates

My girlfriend thought it was weird that I got excited about seeing a forum member on the road. Was gonna track you down to see your modifications but I didn't want to confirm to her that I was a clk freak. Did you get to go to the tuner show?. My one year is tommorrow and I wanted to start adding mods. Guess I'll see some our forum members on the fun run on March 9th and check out everones clks. Mach430 I can't wait to see yours in real life. AolHoward did/do you work for Aol and/or make a lot of money on the stock?

I'll see you around Irvine!

First you use the jack to raise the car and then unscrew the two plastic cover under the front bumper, once you take the plastic cover off, you'll know how to take the bulbs out, it's very similar to the procedures to replace the headlights. Hope this will help.

thanks

lowryder, i got the access panel off and the popped the clip off the second panel no problems.

but I found the bulb in the fogs to be a h3 instead. it was incorrectly reported as h1 on the autowerksexpress website.

i may go with super plasma, 5100k now...

I've gotten 2 pairs of those superwhite foglight bulbs for my 320, but they both burned out within 3 months, so I decided to put the stock foglight bulbs back. I'm pretty fast at changing foglights now . . . (at least 5 times)

Silver !! I don't work for Aol but profits from Aol stock helped me paid for the car, but that was 2 years ago, with the way Aol stock is going, I may have remove the plate soon

I got my interior lites done with the Hid look bulbs as well, they look great !!
:p

My car is stock w/o any mods at this point, I found myself not having enough time or MONEY to spend on the car, I am not in school anymore, now is work & taking care of the house payment.
