I love your car Williams!!! Such a classic clean w208! Do you have any rubbing issues at all? All your fenders are rolled right? and you have some decent stretch going with your tire and wheel combo huh?

Thanks MG i cant waite till both of ours are done.
William: have your shop adjust your hood latch on the right side (your passenger side) there is a gap between the edge of the hood piece that goes between the two lights and the bumper piece that gopes betweehn the two lights. Its very easy all they have to do is turn the adjustment knot on the latch and make the latch move up a bit and that way it pulls the hood a little more down and that gap will be fixed.

Do you guys think a CF lip would be an overkill?

Words escape me. j-WiLL: 2011 Man of the Year. Anybody looking to step up for 2012? Cause 2011 is in the books. It's done, over, finished. Don't bother asking, the ship has sailed.
Ash, you should sell those for "name that price" money. Really. Whatever price you feel like charging is right. Especially considering the non-fitting e-baggery we've seen in the past. How many threads have we seen where a cat buys a bumper on e-bag for too much, and then pays a body man way too much, and it still doesn't fit? From what I see, your work is flawless AND it fits the first time.

Does ash do the work himself or has a shop do it?I get confused when people say ash mods.if so shouldn't he be considered a sponsor?
btw Will the car looks hot the way it is.maybe you can have somebody photoshop a lip and post to see what people say.

Great idea, Wish I know someone who can hookup a photo shop for me.
I'm thinking you are right, a CF lip may be too much.

MarcusF: lol, funny as always. thanks for the kind words brother. Dont worry i think i may have 2012 in the bag but we'll see. car should be done in about 3 weeks and then the 55 swap comes! ![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
Jbenz: all these are my own work except the paint and the body work. like william said this is just a side hobby, what i do for living is in the financial industry and completly a different field.
William: if you had black wheels and black accent like mine then the carbon fiber lip would be great, but i think adding it to your existing setup is gonna be out of place. your car is more elegant looking than aggressive so i would keep it just the way it is, in my opinion it looks perfect right now, but again its your call, i designed it for the lip to fit so your choice. but make sure they adjust that gap on the passenger side, you know me none matching lines and gaps bother me big time HAHAHA

That bumper looks superb, makes it look like a newer model car.
Mercedes should have made this kind of bumper for our cars in the first place, if they did i wouldn't have sold my car. The amg bumper is just too plain and not aggressive looking at all.

Ash, seems you have out done yourself, sounds like people would love to see this bumper in mass production.![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)

i've gotten many PMs about making this and few other bumpers, but as you know I like to keep my stuff very limited and yours and MG1 are the only friends that i made them to rder for, the rest that are floating around are just my old ones that i was tired of and just sold. These take a lot of time and money and paitence to do right and have perfect fitment and oem quality and my business is very different than this, so i know even if i was just to do this as a side business i would get sick of it. its only fun when its a hobby!
