Hi everyone,
I'm a new guy on the block. Been viewing the forums for some time now and this seems like a pretty cool place to hang out, get some tips and look at some sweet cars.
I will soon be purchasing a CLK 430, I'd like to get an idea of what you guys are paying for full coverage insurance on your 430's. My current insurance quoted me approx $800 every 6 months for full coverage. Is this in the ballpark??

Don't know about the 00, 01 or 02 but the 99 CLK 320 costs me $560/6 Months. Thats for full coverage 30/60/50 and everything else (Rental, Roadside Asst., Comprehensive, Collision) with a $1000 collision deduct. and a $250 comprehensive deduct. They told me to go with a higher collision deduct. to save money since I have a good driving record and collisions you have somewhat of a chance of preventing where as comprehensive claims are out of your control, unless of course you park in a bank vault wherever you go. This is all through Geico.

I am 40 with a clean record in North Carolina. I drive the CLK55 listed below as well as the Honda. The CLK is "technically" my second car. Deductible is at $1000. Insurance is only $356 every 6 months for "The Beast". Yea!

Insurance must be cheaper in NC because mine is only 800ish every 12 months with a 500 deductible and full coverage. It is my primary car too.......our ML is only like 400 a year....woohoo. Oh yeah I'm 26 with a clean record.

insurance in Cali is pretty steep... i pay more than normal, but its cause i'm 25 and with a not-so-clean record...
