Rear Wheel Bearing Noise
Hello all,
Has anyone attempted to replace the rear wheel bearings, if so what is the difficulty factor? I tried to search through the forums but could not find anything on it.. I did find a how to on Youtube which makes it look simple enough with the correct tools but not sure. See below link although its on a BMW which seems to be about the same setup as the CLK.

In order to replace with the wheel carrier in place you need the proper tool, the SIR B90-M: http://www.sirtools.com/mercedes.htm. Otherwise you will need to remove the wheel carrier assembly, press the wheel flange out, press the old wheel bearing out, then remove bearing race from wheel flange via shop press, and then press wheel flange into new wheel bearing.
