Dual exhaust
I once talked to the dealership and they told me in order to do that, I have to modify the chassis and modifying car chassis = voiding any warranty on the car and that I wouldn't want.
Has anyone ever done that to their CLK?
THanks,
Solihin
Order a Free catalog and you will see pics of an exhaust they sell that fits for the 320 (no 430, I don't know why). I think that you can change the piping to fit a 430 and just use the same muffllers.
It looks pretty sweet.
it is basically a two set of tips... running out of 1 muffler on the driver side rear... which then has an extra pile running to the right side of the car with 2 tips... therefore, quad tip exhaust
i believe they have one for the 430... but what it is is not a true dual exhaust system...

I also has to cut the bumper right?
Ill be having my rear bumper painted because of accident and if I want to install the dual exhaust, I want to cut it before I paint it.
Any idea on how much the total cost would be?

Therefore, it doesn't say that it only fits the CLK320. PLus, the kit they sell appears to be the same kit that Mach430 has.
Also, to fit the quad exhaust, you will either need to cut the bumper, or purchase their dual exhaust rear bumper, which runs about $880. The exhaust system itself is $850.
edit... on another page, it only lists the CLK320 for the quad exhaust application, so you might want to call and double check.... I'm not sure how different the piping could be
