01 CLK 320
EGR valve

so i tried look all over (including several forums). my engine light came on today and it reads code p0400 which has to do with the EGR valve. i need help locating it because i want to clean it out/ replace it. i saw the diagram but i cant seem to make sense out of it. a diy would be greatly appreciated

I just actually wrote a DIY a few weeks ago, does not include pics, but its really easy to find the valve and the hose itself, and easy to clean as well.

Search under my name and threads I have started, you should be able to find it. good luck with it, its really quite easy and I saved my self a decent amount of money doing it on my own

thanks for the diy. some of it was confusing. but i did it and the acceleration was greatly improved. i also couldnt take pictures but i will go back and take pictures of the location of the valve and location of bolts and hoses that need to be removed, and you can add them to your diy for more info.
