sounds like your stuck. thats up to you, the one thing i love about the 208 is that it stands out, its looks like a European muscle, which it is. whereas the 209 looks beautiful but it blends in with the more modern cars. but thats just me, i love both cars, but in the end its up to you. btw how much added hp would that supercharger give you?

Yeah you describe the cars pretty much to the tee.
Here's mu 208.
I love the 209 because of the simple fact of no b-pillars and keyless go, newer transmission..

From what I've seen anywhere from 100-140 hp roughly the ground, via kleemann blower.

what year is the 209 cuz my bro has a 2005 clk 500 but he doenst have key-less go. and adding the supercharger would give you about the same horsepower as 55 amg engine maybe even less.

this is what the 208 would like look without b pillars. yes there are many of things that are wrong with it but its just giving you an idea

Couple of quick questions.
Have you done any performance upgrades? Have you tried a Sprintbooster ?

Its a 05 as well. It was a option in 2005.
To add fuel to the fire, im upside down bad on the 208!!
Like over 10grand. I was thinking of turning it in and buy the 209 cash!
So will see what happens. It may be just better to stick with the 208 and pay it off.
Even thou im upside down 10k.

Just some k@n drop ins.
Im wanting a high 12 sec car. So the sprint booster is out of the ?
I can get a 55 engine for 1800$ through work. And a kleemann kit for cost.
I also thought about trying to put together a vortech supercharger kit. Kinda like the hop kit.

That amount of HP is likely to cost you at least $ 15,000 You put down those #'s will need a special built trans to survive that much power running $4000 or more. Then a good 55 motor, $6000 or more. Add a lower priced supercharger with acc. and exhaust and pricey ECU tune.
So $15,000 on the cheap. If your already 10k in the red, it all depends how much you like a car that has old school hardware. Good Luck either way.

Them prices u throw out are retail. Im a mb tech, everything is at cost. i can go through a .6 blind fold. A stock 208 55 runs low 13 sec. So to get to high 12 with a blower shouldnt be hard. Also ive driven many kleemann cars at work, worked on them and the trans hold up pretty good.

It sounds like you already have a good handle on available parts. You'll want at least to try and find a 55 trans instead of your 430. The AMG is better but still can fail unless it's beefed up.
If you get a Kleeman SC make sure you get the ECU. They want almost as much money for a Kleeman ECU as a SC.

Ill probably go with dynocomp tune. Im not to worried about the trans. I can always tighten up clutch packs and freewheel units in it.
Im still on the fence with keeping it. I may have to, due to how in the hole i am with the car note!!
