SprintBooster

Would a Sprint Booster on a stock 320 be able to spin the tires out at a stop? Stock wheels as well. I am considering ordering this as I've heard some good things about it.

their website won't give a true owners perspective w/ it installed and used on our cars. I'm curios to know as well ;=)

I think their website says it best

Sprint Booster makes your car's throttle respond faster to your foot. As a result, your gas pedal actually achieves a full throttle response 25% sooner than the stock configuration. Even if you have a 'sport' button, Sprint Booster will quicken the throttle response time. By making the throttle respond faster to your input, you will feel as though your car has more muscle than it really does!

• Sprint Booster does not increase Horsepower.

• Sprint Booster does not reduce your 0-60mph times.

• Sprint Booster DOES make your car 'FEEL' faster.

• Sprint Booster is not for everyone

so in short you are getting no power gains. I would believe that you would not be able to do a burn out. Hell my 430 with good tires wont do a burn out and that is the way I like it. no grip = slow et

I have one, at 1st I was like why do I need something like this. But then I brought one and now I want another for my Audi.

It makes your car more fun to drive but less comfortable.

I just threw one in my 430. I lot more pep/zip. Well worth it. Spinning the tires before was fairly easy, now it's a cakewalk (not a good thing if you're not the only driver of your car/others aren't used to it, or if your tire budget isn't substantial - I don't try to spin the tires, but I'm sure there's been a good amount of undesired tread loss).

99CLK320,
I have one on my 320 and it does make the car's throttle reponse better but the car will not burn out.

Hope that's just for laughs, insmae1! Tires have little to do with it - Assuming you're not rolling cheapo's or bald tires on your MB, I would gather just about anyone can leave some rubber on the pavement given the engine size/torque of the 430 (I could do so with ease prior to the SprintBooster as well). Not what I'm trying to do, but I'm sure you can also see a couple dozen testaments to this in searching youtube, etc.

I disagree. I guess tire size has something to do with it also. when I first got my car I could drop lines from a stand still with little effort. Now with a good set of new rubber I can take of the esp and flor it from a stand still and get nothing but launch. I am running a 245 35 18. In my experience tires make a huge difference. JMHO
