does your side mirrors electronically fold?
Hi guys, i was just wondering whether i can change my side mirrors to the electonically folding ones. My current mirrors do not even fold manually. They're like stuck. Im afraid to force them to fold because something might break if they really were not intended to fold. I have a ratheroldie CLK - a 1998 w208 Kompressor. Any ideas? What w208 year models have folding side mirrors electronically and manual?

Don't think the 230 kcompressor was delivered in the states. to the best of my knowledge US model w208 mirrors were all folding and none did so electronically. I have been here several years and have never heard talk of elec mirrors except for the mirror itself being adjustable.

Only the european and some Asian countries got that option. Yes you can add it but you have to buy the side view mirrors internal arms that have the motor, yhe wiring harness that connects that motor to you seat control module On the door, the harness to the switch and the center wood piece that has an extra place for the mirror switch. It's very easy to do but fairly expensive.
