Feels like its going to shut off at Idle
Hello Board. Before I take the wife's 2002 Clk 320 Convertible (130k miles) in to the indie, I always check in with you guys first.
Symptoms: the car feels like its going to shut off at idle. It's fine on the highway but stop and go traffic, it feels like the rpms go extremely low. Sometimes it does shut off. Weird! When in Park, rpms go up and down by itself without touching the excellerator.
Thought I'd also mention the slight ticking sound when the engine is running.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I have an 06 c230 sport (w203) and I have the same exact symptoms. I recently got my spark plugs changed and it helped a little, but the problem persists. Btw the gaps on some of my plugs were bent and i still have misfire codes. I hope someone can tell us what the problem may be.
