European style mirrors ?

European style mirrors ?
99 CLK320 conv. Need to replace drivers side mirror with backing plate. Need more then the glue over replacement lens. What I'm finding are wide angle with a vertical line? These are supposedly OEM on european cars? Does anybody have these? Do you like them?

The vertical line is about a 1/4 on the edge yes?
Theres loads on ebay, I just replaced my drivers side (Right ) as it had gone all misty. Cheap only about £5
