few question
hey everyone, as you all know i am doing a 55 transplant in my 320. before i drop the engine in i am doing all the part replacements so when it goes in it is brand new parts on the motor. i am replacing all the hoses, plugs, wires, coils, waterpump, exhaust manifold gaskets, MAF, Vaccum hoses, temp sensor and a few other parts. I have the following questions:
1. what is the tourqe spec on the exhast manifold bolts? I am installing new gaskets so i need to remove them.
2. what is the tourqe spec on the water pump and thermostat bolts? I am replacing those as well.
3. does the water pump have a gasket or is it just the gasket glue? i did this job on my 320 years ago but dont remember.
4. do i need to put any sealant/gasket glue on my exhaust manifold gaskets or just drop them in and tightenup?
3.what is the tourque spec on the valve cover bolts/ i need to remove them to change the valve cover gaskets.
also do i have to use lock tight on any of the above bolts and nuts or just tourqe them?

1. alternator bolts 42 Nm
2. exhaust manifold knots 16Nm
3. Intake manifold bolts 20m
4. water pump bolts
M6 bolt thread not pretapped 14 Nm
M8 bolt thread not pretapped 35 Nm
M6 bolt thread pretapped 14 Nm
M8 bolt thread pretapped 25 Nm
5. power steering pump bolts
bolt thread not pretapped 35 Nm
bolt thread pretapped 20 Nm
6. belt tentioner bolts
bolt thread not pretapped 35 Nm
bolt thread pretapped 25 Nm
Surely somebody knows the specs for the idler pulley bolt, water pump pulley bolts, fan clutch nut that attaches to the water pump pulley, fan blade bolts that attach the blade to the clutch, and the throttle body actuator bolts.
