Hi Ash.

I can confirm that the intake manifold is the same on the 430 as the 55AMG.

Thank you very much Paul and MarcusF, i had it exchanged for a 500 which as you guys said was identical with the same part number. The only thing i'm trying to figure out is the throttle actuator part weather its the same for the 430 and the 55 or different and also if i can get the part number for the 55 it would be fantastic.

p.s. is there away to tell the difference between the 55 and the 430 motor without looking at the internals that have the AMG logos on them?

Visual difference between the 430 and 55, like when you pop the hood will anybody know?? Yup, 55 has the oil cooler mounted to the oil filter housing assembly, 430 has no cooler mounted there.

Nope. That's why when u run the 55 airbox on a 430, u have to trim a little off the front. You have to trim due to the filter on the 55 being shifted slightly more towards the LF fender than on a 430 to make room for the cooler.

Oh wow that's interesting because I know that the s430 and the ml430 has the oil cooler but maybe on the CLKs they went a different route. Thanks for the info I really appreciate it.
