Soft Top Deck Strut - Loose
Hi All,
One of the rams that pushes up the rear deck is loose, its the end that connects to the car body its at an angle and wobbles, everything works but as the roof goes up and down it moves slightly so its not secure, nothing touches but it's not good,
I've stripped all the trim off and un-bolted the hinge to try and see the other end but it disappears into a box section to which there's no access, I'm just hoping its not a captive bolt that's fallen off,
Has anyone got an exploded diag of this, or any idea how to access the other side,
Being the UK we are having our only week of sun

I've had another look today and bought a 15mm open open spanner to try and tighten but it just spins, whats also odd its different to the opposite side, this one looks a lot thicker, its passenger side UK car, is this correct?
