CLK 55 questions from england

hi guys,

new to this forum pls be patient,

looking to buy one of these beautfiul subtle cars got a few questions ive searched and searched and not found these so here goes,

1)currently got a 320 which i do very short journeys 2 miles to work 2 miles back, 3 long straight miles to gym 3 straight miles back, no traffic steady 5-60 mph.

before anyone asks can only keep one car due to baby etc..

im currently getting 16 mpg as average, would this be the same in the 55?

2)is short journeys going to kill the engine? once a week i do have to travel a 150 mile round trip so would this help?

3)how much am i looking at for brakes, cant find anyone that stocks these discs and pads or even other stuff.

4) what sort of 1/4 mile do they do, ive seen alot of differences in car websites you tube etc, but generally low 13;s?

5) what mods can be done say if i added and what bhp will they give? i understand ecu would be 15 bhp max? what about headers? or even a simple straight through exhaust?filter?

6) do they al have orthepedic seats which i understand are actuall massaging seats for driver and passenger?

1) that short a mile per day your mileage wont matter. City I get around 16 with an overall average in the 21 range

2)Short trips are terrible for any engine but it's the exhaust that will suffer first. Your 150 mile once a week will help burn off the built up moisture in the crankcase.

3) Shop for quality parts but you should be able to stay under $600 for the front and $200 for the rears in OEM quality. Be careful if you choose the ebay route.

4) Most cant launch without tire spin so quarter times will be all over

5) All comes down to how much $$$ you want to spend

6) They have SOME adjustments but no massage and no cool, heat only
