I have a problem with my car. When I have about a 1/4 of a tank of gas or less the check engine lite comes on. Shortly after I re-fuel the lite will shut off (next day). Fuel cap is on tight.

Engine codes:
P0130 O2 sensor, bank 1
P0172 Fuel Trim, bank 2

Any Ideas??

I have the same problem whit my car.
But my check engine light comes on when the car has ben standig stil a while the engine is runing.
Or when I drive slow in warm wether.
The engine get almost 100 degr C
Is it normal for the engine to get this varm and why does my check engine lite come on.

The light goes of in a day or two???????

Hi I am having the same type of trouble if you will with me car. My Check Engine Lite was on as well when I pulled the codes I got(5x) P0455 emission leak(large) but I dont smell gas or do I experience any drivability problems or poor gas milage. My resarche would suggest a failing fuel tank pressure sensor as the gas can is on pretty tight . So Im making an appointment to have it looked at maybe this weekend to have all of the sensors checked. Ill keep you guys posted.

My engine runs about 85-90 C...
