B Service Question: Indicator still on
The service folks were great, my name was still in their database from my old c230, and they didn't charge me for the purchase inspection they gave the car (initially they said it would be $150).
They also said that they gave the car a B Service, which was noted on my paperwork when I left. I noticed in the car that the service indicator (ie. 3900 miles until next service), had not been updated.
Is this something that is frequently overlooked?
Is there an easy way to tell if they really did a B Service?
Thanks,
Chris
So I recently took my CLK in for its first full-on service walkthru- something I didn't do when I bought it 2 weeks ago. The good news is that the car is in top form, aside from a window regulator that was installed under warranty (road noise problem solved).

glad the inspection went ok.
its an easy thing to overlook... all you need to do is scroll through your steering wheel menu until you get to the Service indication page, and press and hold the "R" button to reset the indicator...
That should do it.
