99CLK320,
93 octane

I had my ECU re-mapped back in 05 for 91octane. Nice improvement in performance. I am seeing my favorite fuel stopped 91 and now only offer 93. With only a couple of points diff in the octane rating I would not think it would be a big deal. Anybody have any thoughts? TIA, David

Before I did my ECU re-mapped for 95 octane I've used 93 and 95 and I can tell you that in my experience there was a big difference. Performance was literary night and day.

99CLK320,
The only problem I see with re-doing the ECU to 93 is that when traveling, what will the availability of 93 be? I've not been able to find 91 at times. I have an email out to Jake at Eurocharge for an opinion.

99CLK320,
Only problem Jimmy is, I only know of one place that has 93 and, what about traveling. Can I drop back to using 91 and will it cause problems with the ECU tuned to 93? Somebody jump in on this. MarcusF?
