What are the difference between the brakes on the 55 and the 430?
How much bigger are the 55 brakes? Is the performance increase very noticeable?

The CLK55 brakes are:
13.2" diameter rotors
Eurorotor (multipiece rotor with stainless steel pins to separate the braking area from rotor hat)
2-piston floating caliper
Very heavy, but very good performance
I am not aware of the full specs on the CLK430, but I do know they are not Eurorotors, and the brake pad area is a lot less than the CLK55 (maybe half).
