Rain sensor calibration

Hi, I am new to this forum and am seeking some help. I purchased a 2000 CLK430 recently and just have the front windshield replaced. However, the new rain sensor doesn't seem to work as well as the old one. I am wondering whether it can be calibrated in some way. I searched online and contacted the dealer, but didn't seem to find a definite answer. Can anyone provide some information or suggestion? Many thanks!

Did you have genuine MB glass installed or aftermarket glass? I've seen a lot of posts of people having similar problems when using aftermarket glass.

It is aftermarket. Just got a phone call from the dealer and they said there is a procedure to calibrate it even for aftermarket ones. I will update the result afterwards. Thank you for the reply.

My rain sensors don't work either. Please share if you are able to calibrate your rain sensors.

Thanks
